Giving Through Your Donor Advised Fund →

It’s easy to make a gift to Maliasili through your Donor Advised Fund. A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a type of giving administered by a third party that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to easily support our work. An increasingly popular charitable tool, DAFs are a great way to both simplify your charitable giving and achieve your philanthropic goals.

Donating appreciated stocks, mutual funds or bonds is an efficient way to contribute that may provide you with significant tax benefits. You can make a gift of appreciated securities to Maliasili while avoiding capital gains tax.

Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs), also known as IRA Charitable Rollovers, are an easy and smart way for individuals in the United States, age 70½ or older, to use their IRAs to maximize charitable impact. When you make a QCD from your IRA, you can support Maliasili without paying income taxes on the contributed funds.

Tribute and Memorial Gift →

If you would like to recognize someone, please indicate that with your online donation or include a note with a check including their name and address. We'll send a notification to the recipient telling them of your thoughtful memorial or honorary gift. Gifts made this year will be listed at the conclusion of the year in our annual report.
